This is a most unusual and certainly rare brooch that was patented in 1942 by Nicholas Barbieri. It boasts gorgeous magenta Lucite moonstones that change color with the way light hits it! There is a patent number on the back and I have included the patent page from the US patent website for your reference. It is measuring 2 1/4\u201d diameter, and the pin back (c-clasp) works fine.I love the 3 dimensional shape of the brooch.
